The MSI IPC MS-C918 is a palm-sized fanless box PC (80 × 80 × 39.5 mm) with an Intel Alder Lake-N N100 or Twin Lake-N N150 processor (6 W) and integrated Wi-Fi 6E & Bluetooth 5.2. Ideal for space-saving digital signage and embedded applications behind monitors or in tight enclosures.
The MSI IPC MS-C918 is based on the Intel Mobile Alder Lake-N N100 (0.8–3.4 GHz, 6 W) or the Twin Lake-N N150 (0.8–3.4 GHz, 6 W) in BGA package with integrated SoC chipset. The extremely compact chassis of 80 × 80 × 39.5 mm and a weight of only 0.22 kg allow discreet mounting behind monitors or in kiosk enclosures via VESA bracket.
4 GB of single-channel LPDDR5-4800 memory is soldered on board (no SO-DIMM). A 128 GB eMMC serves as data storage. An SD card slot allows external storage expansion up to 2 TB. fTPM 2.0 is integrated in the processor.
The I/O equipment comprises 2× HDMI 2.0b (up to 4096×2160@60 Hz, one with CEC power on/off), 1× GbE LAN (Realtek RTL8111H-CG), 2× USB 10 Gbps Type-A and 1× USB 2.0 Type-A. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 are integrated onboard (2 internal antennas). No serial port or GPIO is available.
The MS-C918 is certified to FCC Class B, CE, RCM, BSMI, VCCI, UKCA and IC and runs Windows 11 IoT Enterprise 24H2 LTSC. The operating temperature is 0 to 40 °C, the supply voltage 12 V DC. Thanks to its minimal dimensions and very low power consumption, it is ideal for digital signage players, smart retail and edge AI applications.
