The MSI IPC MS-1P17 is an exceptionally slim fanless box PC (25 mm height) with Intel IOTG Alder Lake-N processor (N97 / Atom X7425E / Core i3-N305) and DDR5-4800 memory. Designed for space-saving industrial and digital signage applications with minimal energy consumption.
The MSI IPC MS-1P17 is based on the Intel IOTG Alder Lake-N platform and is available with either the Intel N97 (2 GHz, up to 3.6 GHz, 12 W), the Atom X7425E (3.4 GHz, 12 W) or the Core i3-N305 (1.8 GHz, up to 3.8 GHz, up to 15 W). The BGA processor with integrated chipset (SoC) allows an extremely slim enclosure of only 25 mm in height with a weight of 0.91 kg.
Memory can be expanded to up to 16 GB via a 262-pin SO-DIMM slot with single-channel DDR5-4800. For mass storage, an M.2 B-Key slot (SATA/PCIe x1, 2242/3042/2280) and an M.2 E-Key slot (PCIe x1/USB 2.0, 2230) are available; a micro SD card reader is also integrated.
The I/O features comprise 4× USB 3.1 Type-A, 2× USB 2.0, 1× HDMI, 1× DisplayPort, 2× 2.5 GbE LAN (Intel I226-V), 1× COM port (RS-232/422/485, 0/5/12 V) as well as one line-out and one mic-in connector each. Two antenna openings allow optional WLAN/BT expansion. Power is supplied via DC-in 12–24 V with a locking DC jack.
The MS-1P17 complies with the EMC standards CE, FCC, RCM, VCCI and BSMI and supports Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC as well as Windows 11 IoT Enterprise. Thanks to its fanless design, VESA/stand mounting and slim profile, it is ideal for digital signage players, kiosk systems and distributed control tasks.
