The ASUS IoT Tinker V is a RISC-V based single-board computer (Pico-ITX, 100 × 72 mm) with Renesas RZ/Five SoC, AndesCore AX45MP CPU at 1.0 GHz, 1 GB DDR4, dual Gigabit LAN, CAN Bus 2.0 and COM RS232 for industrial control applications.
The ASUS IoT Tinker V is an open RISC-V SBC in Pico-ITX form factor (100 × 72 mm) with the Renesas RZ/Five SoC and AndesCore AX45MP processor (single core, 1.0 GHz). With 1 GB DDR4 memory and optional 16 GB eMMC, it offers a lean platform for industrial control tasks.
Two Gigabit LAN ports (Realtek RTL8211FI) via RJ-45 sockets ensure robust network connectivity. The rear I/O also includes 2 x CAN Bus (6-pin terminal), 2 x COM RS232 (10-pin terminal) and 2 x USB 2.0 (Micro-USB). A 20-pin header with UART, I²C, GPIO, ADC, SPI and 3.3 V/GND pins enables flexible hardware integration.
An integrated JTAG debug header, power-on and reset buttons as well as LED indicators (power, disk, reserve) complement the industrial design. The Tinker V is powered with 10–24 V DC via barrel jack and supports Linux Debian and Yocto.
The wide operating temperature range from -20 to 60 °C, compact 100 × 72 mm dimensions and the wide input range of 10–24 V DC make the Tinker V a suitable platform for RISC-V based industrial and infrastructure edge applications.
