The ASUS IoT Tinker Board R2.0/S is an energy-efficient single board computer with Rockchip RK3288-CG.W quad-core SoC (ARM Cortex-A17), 2 or 4 GB LPDDR3, HDMI, MIPI DSI/CSI, Gigabit LAN and Wi-Fi/BT. The S variant adds 16 or 32 GB eMMC storage.
The ASUS IoT Tinker Board R2.0/S is based on the Rockchip RK3288-CG.W with four ARM Cortex-A17 cores at 1.8 GHz and ARM Mali-T760 MP4 GPU (600 MHz). It offers 2 or 4 GB dual-channel LPDDR3 memory; the S variant adds 16 or 32 GB eMMC onboard storage on a compact 85 × 56 mm.
Display output is provided via HDMI (up to 3840 × 2160 @ 30 Hz) and MIPI DSI (2-lane, 2 Gbps, 1280 × 720 @ 60 Hz). A MIPI CSI-2 connector (2-lane, 15-pin) enables camera integration. Four USB 2.0 Type-A ports, Gigabit LAN (Realtek RTL8211) and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n + Bluetooth 4.2 EDR (Realtek RTL8723DS) offer comprehensive connectivity.
The 40-pin GPIO header offers up to 28 GPIO, 2 x SPI, 2 x I²C, 4 x UART, 2 x PWM, PCM/I²S as well as 2-pin contact points for PWM and S/PDIF. Audio is provided via the 3.5 mm jack (Realtek ALC4030U codec with jack detection) and HDMI.
The Tinker Board R2.0/S is powered with 5 V/3 A via Micro USB, supports Linux Debian 10 and Android (AOSP) 11 and is designed for operating temperatures of 0 to 60 °C.
