The ASUS IoT Tinker Board 3S is a compact single board computer with Rockchip RK3566 quad-core SoC (ARM Cortex-A55), NPU, up to 4 GB LPDDR4X, 16 GB eMMC, HDMI 4K, MIPI DSI and Wi-Fi 5 / BT 5.0 for embedded applications.
The ASUS IoT Tinker Board 3S is based on the Rockchip RK3566 with four ARM Cortex-A55 cores, an integrated Rockchip NPU for AI inference and ARM Mali-G52 GPU. It offers 2 or 4 GB dual-channel LPDDR4X and 16 GB eMMC onboard storage in a compact 85 × 56 mm format.
Display output is provided via HDMI (up to 4096 × 2160 @ 60 Hz) and MIPI DSI (4-lane, 6 Gbps, 22-pin), supported by Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0 (M.2 E-Key). Gigabit LAN (Realtek RTL8211F) and a Micro SD card slot complete the connectivity.
The 40-pin GPIO header (Raspberry Pi compatible) offers up to 28 GPIO, SPI, I²C, UART, PWM, PCM/I²S and S/PDIF. Further internal interfaces include USB 2.0 (4-pin), recovery header, power-on header, debug UART and DC fan header. The rear I/O offers 1 x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, 2 x USB 2.0 Type-A and 1 x USB 2.0 Micro-B.
The Tinker Board 3S supports Debian, Android and Yocto, is powered with 12–19 V DC and is designed for an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 °C.
