The ASUS IoT Tinker Board 3N is a versatile single board computer with Rockchip RK3568 quad-core SoC (ARM Cortex-A55), up to 8 GB LPDDR4X, HDMI 4K, LVDS/eDP, dual LAN and extensive serial interfaces for industrial IoT applications.
The ASUS IoT Tinker Board 3N is based on the Rockchip RK3568 with four ARM Cortex-A55 cores and ARM Mali-G52 GPU. It is available in three SKU variants: 3N PLUS (–40 to 85 °C, dual LAN, CAN bus, 5G/4G slot), 3N (standard, –40 to 85 °C, dual LAN) and 3N LITE (0 to 60 °C, single LAN). Memory is 2, 4 or 8 GB LPDDR4X.
Displays are driven via HDMI (up to 4096 × 2160 @ 60 Hz), LVDS (up to 1920 × 1080 @ 60 Hz, dual-link) and eDP (up to 2560 × 1600 @ 60 Hz); multi-display operation is possible as HDMI + LVDS or HDMI + eDP. The M.2 E-Key 2230 slot takes a Wi-Fi 5/BT 5.0 module as standard; an optional M.2 B-Key 3042/3052 slot with Nano-SIM enables 4G/5G (3N PLUS/3N only).
Serial interfaces include up to 2 x COM RS232 (with flow control), 1 x COM RS232/422/485 and 1 x CAN bus 2.0B (3N PLUS/3N only). For displays and audio, a 3.5 mm jack with microphone, speaker output (4 ohm, 2 × 3 W) and S/PDIF are available. The 14-pin GPIO header offers ADC, PWM, UART, I²C and SPI.
The Tinker Board 3N is powered with 12–24 V DC, supports Linux Debian 11, Yocto and Android 12 and measures 100 × 100 mm.
