The ASUS IoT N305S-IM-AA is an industrial 3.5-inch single board computer with Intel® Core™ i3-N305 processor (Alder Lake-N, 8 cores, up to 3.7 GHz) and DDR5-4800 memory.
It offers triple display output (HDMI + DP + eDP/LVDS), six serial interfaces, dual GbE LAN and extensive M.2 and Mini-PCIe expansion for performance-demanding industrial applications.
Processor & platform: The N305S-IM-AA uses the Intel® Core™ i3-N305 processor (Alder Lake-N platform) with 8 cores. The TDP is 15 W (configurable to 9 W). The base frequency is 1.8 GHz (Eco: 900 MHz), the maximum turbo clock 3.7 GHz. The integrated Intel Gen 12 UHD Graphics enables up to 4K/60 Hz and a tri-display configuration of HDMI 2.0, DP 1.2 and eDP 1.2/LVDS.
Memory & storage: One SO-DIMM slot takes DDR5-4800 MT/s modules with in-band ECC (IBECC), max. 16 GB. The SATA Gen 3.2 port (6 Gb/s) and one M.2 M-Key 2280/2242 slot (SATA) offer flexible storage options. The M.2 E-Key 2230 slot (PCIe/USB/CNVi) is intended for WLAN/BT modules.
I/O & connectivity: At the rear, the board provides 1× HDMI, 1× DisplayPort, 4× USB 3.2 Gen2 (10 Gb/s) and 2× GbE RJ-45 (Intel® i210AT). Internally, 6 serial COM ports (2× RS-232/422/485, 4× RS-232), 2× USB 2.0, a Mini-PCIe full-length slot with Nano-SIM socket, GPIO (8-bit), SMBus and I²C header are available. Audio via Realtek® ALC897.
