The ASUS IoT C5123S-IM-AA is a 3.5-inch SBC with Intel® Core™ i5-1235U processor (Alder Lake-P U, 15 W, 10 cores, vPro) and DDR5-4800 memory. It offers quad display output via DP, 2× HDMI and LVDS, 4 serial COM ports and dual LAN (10/100/1000 Mbps/2.5G) for demanding industrial applications.
The C5123S-IM-AA is based on the Intel® Core™ i5-1235U processor (SoC, Alder Lake-P U series, 15 W, 10 cores, max. 6 GHz, vPro supported) with integrated chipset and Intel® Iris® Xe graphics. The platform supports Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC as well as Linux Ubuntu and Yocto and is suitable for high-performance industrial embedded systems.
Memory is provided via two SO-DIMM sockets and supports DDR5-4800 modules with up to 64 GB total capacity. Storage expansion is provided by one M.2 M-Key slot (type 2242/2280, PCIe Gen4×4 & SATA) and one SATA 6Gb/s port; one M.2 E-Key slot (type 2230, PCIe×1/CNVi) is available for WLAN/BT.
The rear I/O comprises 1× DisplayPort 1.2, 2× HDMI 2.0 (up to 4096×2160 @ 60 Hz), 4× USB 3.2 Gen2 (10G) and 2× RJ-45 (Intel® i219LM with vPRO and i225V, 10/100/1000 Mbps/2.5G). Internally, 4 serial headers (2× RS-232/422/485, 2× RS-232), GPIO (8-bit), SMBus, I²C and a Mini PCIe slot with Nano-SIM are available.
The board supports a wide DC input range of 9–36 V, an operating temperature range of -20 to 60 °C (-40 to 85 °C storage temperature), BIOS watchdog, SPI TPM header and certifications to CE, FCC, BSMI, VCCI, ISED and EN62368. The 3.5-inch format (146×105 mm) allows space-saving installation in industrial systems.
