Description

The ASUS IoT X642EP-IM-AA is a high-performance 2.5-inch Pico-ITX board with Intel Atom x6425E processor (4-core, 12 W), up to 8 GB LPDDR4x memory and 64 GB eMMC for industrial high-performance applications.

The ASUS IoT X642EP-IM-AA offers the Intel Atom x6425E with four cores (base clock 2.0 GHz, max. 3.0 GHz, 12 W TDP) for maximum performance in Pico-ITX format. Up to 8 GB LPDDR4x onboard memory and 64 GB eMMC form the basis, complemented by an M.2 2242 B-Key slot.

Two HDMI ports (2.0 + 1.4) and an optional LVDS/eDP output enable triple display operation. 2.5 GbE (Intel I226-IT) and 1 GbE (Intel i210-IT) provide different network bandwidths. Two USB 3.2 ports are available on the rear I/O panel.

For automation applications, the board offers 2 x RS232/422/485, 8-bit GPIO, I²C/SMBUS and AT/ATX selection. The ASUS IoT Suite simplifies system management with watchdog timer, hardware monitor, GPIO and I²C under Windows and Linux.

The X642EP-IM-AA supports an extended temperature range of -40 to 85 °C, is powered with 12–24 V DC and is certified to CE, FCC, BSMI, VCCI, ISED and CE-LVD.
