The IMB-X1244-WV is identical to the X1240-WV, except that the PCIe x16 slot is angled at 90 degrees – for particularly flat enclosures with a horizontally mounted expansion card.
The ASRock Industrial IMB-X1244-WV is an industrial Mini-ITX motherboard (17.0 x 17.0 x 2.6 cm) based on the Intel W680 chipset. It supports Intel Core processors of Series 2 (Bartlett Lake-S) as well as 14th, 13th and 12th Gen.
The key difference from the sister model IMB-X1240-WV lies in the expansion slot: the PCIe x16 slot (Gen4) is soldered on as a right-angle version at 90 degrees. The expansion card thus lies parallel to the board, which significantly reduces the overall height of the system – crucial for flat installation situations and 1U enclosures. Riser cards with x8/x8 bifurcation are supported.
Two 262-pin SO-DIMM slots take up to 96 GB DDR5-4800/5600 with or without ECC. Storage comprises two M.2 Key M slots (PCIe Gen4 x4, one additionally with SATA3) and two SATA3 ports; with the M2X4-SATA-4P module, the number of SATA ports can be increased by four via a special BIOS. Intel VMD RAID 0/1 is available. An M.2 Key B with SIM socket covers 4G/5G.
Graphics output allows quad display via 2x HDMI 2.0b, DisplayPort 1.4a, LVDS and eDP 1.4b. Networking is handled by an Intel I226V (2.5 GbE) and an Intel I219LM (1 GbE, vPro). TPM 2.0 is onboard; power is supplied via 12 to 28 V DC at -20 to +70 degrees Celsius.
