The most economical variant of the A8000 series: AMD Ryzen Embedded PRO 8640U with 6 cores up to 3.5 GHz at only 15-30 W TDP – for fanless systems with quad display and ECC DDR5.
The ASRock Industrial IMB-A8000V is the most economical configuration variant of the IMB-A8000 series. The industrial Mini-ITX motherboard (17.0 x 17.0 x 4.1 cm) is fitted with an AMD Ryzen Embedded PRO 8640U with six cores and 12 threads at up to 3.5 GHz and a configurable TDP of only 15 to 30 W. This low power dissipation makes the variant the first choice for fanless enclosure concepts and continuously running edge systems.
Despite the low power budget, the integrated AMD RDNA 3 graphics drive four DisplayPort 1.4a outputs with up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz – full quad display operation without an add-on card. Two 262-pin SO-DIMM slots hold up to 96 GB DDR5-5600 in dual-channel mode, optionally with ECC error correction.
For expansion, one PCIe x8 slot (Gen4) with separate GPU card power connector, one M.2 Key M (2242/2280, PCIe Gen4 x4), one M.2 Key B (3042/3052) with SIM socket for 4G/5G and one M.2 Key E for WLAN are available. Two SATA3 ports with their own power output complement the storage connectivity.
Networking is handled by a Realtek RTL8125BG with 2.5 GbE and an RTL8111H with 1 GbE. The interfaces comprise 1x USB 3.2 Gen2, 3x USB 3.2 Gen1, 4x USB 2.0, five COM ports and a dedicated ccTalk interface. The board operates from -20 to +70 degrees Celsius with a 12 to 28 V DC supply and offers AMD firmware TPM.
