The Xeon W processors of the 3200 series are the successors of a single model from the Skylake generation, the “Xeon W-3175X” processor with the server socket LGA-3647. Technically, they are largely the same as the Cascade-Lake Generation scalable processors. Xeon W-3200 is intended for high-end workstations without a graphical user interface or with an external graphics card and is therefore well suited for self-sufficient servers.
