The IMB-1231 brings Intel Core processors up to 14th Gen on the Q670 chipset to the Mini-ITX format: vPro, PCIe x16 Gen4, four SATA3 ports, quad display and a power supply co-design of ATX and 12 V DC.
The ASRock Industrial IMB-1231 is an industrial Mini-ITX motherboard (17.0 x 17.0 x 3.8 cm) with the Intel Q670 chipset and LGA 1700 socket. It accepts Intel Core Series 2 (Bartlett Lake-S) as well as 14th, 13th and 12th Gen processors (Raptor Lake-S Refresh, Raptor Lake-S, Alder Lake-S) with up to 65 W TDP.
The Q670 chipset provides the full Intel vPro platform; remote management runs via the Intel I225LM or I226LM with 2.5 GbE. A second 2.5 GbE port (I225LM/I225V/I226V) is also available. Two 260-pin SO-DIMM slots take up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 in dual-channel mode.
Despite its compact format, the board offers a full-size PCIe x16 slot (Gen4) with support for riser cards in x8/x8 mode. In addition, there are two M.2 Key M (PCIe Gen3 x4 and Gen4 x4 with SATA3), one M.2 Key E for WLAN and one M.2 Key B (3042/3052) with SIM socket for 4G/5G. Four SATA3 ports with Intel VMD RAID 0/1/5/10 also cover larger storage arrays; with the M2X4-SATA-4P module, four further SATA ports can be added via a special BIOS.
The graphics output allows quad display via HDMI 2.0b, two DisplayPort 1.4a, VGA and LVDS/eDP. A TPM 2.0 chip is onboard. The power supply is implemented as a co-design: either an ATX power supply (24+4-pin) or 12 V DC-in. Operating temperature -20 to +70 degrees Celsius.
