The IMB-A8000 series combines AMD Ryzen Embedded 8000 SoCs with RDNA 3 graphics, four DisplayPort 1.4a outputs, ECC DDR5 and a 12-28 V wide-range input in Mini-ITX format.
The ASRock Industrial IMB-A8000 is an industrial Mini-ITX motherboard (17.0 x 17.0 x 4.1 cm) based on the AMD Ryzen Embedded 8000 SoC series. The series is available in four configuration variants: IMB-A8000P with Ryzen Embedded PRO 8845HS (8 cores / 16 threads, up to 3.8 GHz, 35-54 W), IMB-A8000S with PRO 8645HS (6 cores / 12 threads, up to 4.3 GHz, 35-54 W), IMB-A8000M with PRO 8840U (8 cores / 16 threads, up to 3.3 GHz, 15-30 W) and IMB-A8000V with PRO 8640U (6 cores / 12 threads, up to 3.5 GHz, 15-30 W).
The integrated graphics unit based on the AMD RDNA 3 architecture drives four DisplayPort 1.4a outputs with up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz – quad display without an add-on card. Two 262-pin SO-DIMM slots take up to 96 GB DDR5-5600 in dual-channel mode, optionally with ECC error correction.
The expansion options are broadly designed for embedded applications: one PCIe x8 slot (Gen4) with separate GPU card power connector, one M.2 Key M (2242/2280) with PCIe Gen4 x4, one M.2 Key B (3042/3052) with SIM socket for 4G/5G mobile communications and one M.2 Key E for WLAN. In addition, there are two SATA3 ports with their own power output.
The interfaces comprise a Realtek RTL8125BG with 2.5 GbE and an RTL8111H with 1 GbE, 1x USB 3.2 Gen2, 3x USB 3.2 Gen1, 4x USB 2.0 as well as five COM ports and a dedicated ccTalk interface for payment systems. The board operates from -20 to +70 degrees Celsius, is powered via 12 to 28 V DC with lockable jack and offers AMD firmware TPM.
