The ASUS IoT Tinker Board 3 is a powerful single-board computer with Rockchip RK3566 quad-core SoC (ARM Cortex-A55), integrated NPU, up to 4 GB LPDDR4X, HDMI 4K, MIPI-DSI and Wi-Fi 5 / BT 5.0 for modern embedded applications.
The ASUS IoT Tinker Board 3 is based on the Rockchip RK3566 with four ARM Cortex-A55 cores, an integrated Rockchip NPU for AI inference and ARM Mali-G52 GPU. It offers 2 or 4 GB dual-channel LPDDR4X memory without onboard eMMC and measures a compact 85 × 56 mm.
Display output is provided via HDMI (up to 4096 × 2160 @ 60 Hz) and MIPI-DSI (4-lane, 6 Gbps, 22-pin). Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0 (M.2 E-Key) as well as Gigabit LAN (Realtek RTL8211F) offer flexible networking options. A Micro-SD slot serves as the primary storage medium.
The 40-pin GPIO header (Raspberry Pi compatible) with up to 28 GPIO, SPI, I²C, UART, PWM, PCM/I²S, S/PDIF and IR receiver enables versatile hardware integration. The rear I/O offers 1 x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, 2 x USB 2.0 Type-A and 1 x USB 2.0 Micro-B as well as 3.5 mm audio with microphone.
The Tinker Board 3 supports Debian, Android and Yocto, is powered with 12–19 V DC and is designed for an operating temperature range from 0 to 60 °C. It is identical in design to the 3S variant, but without integrated eMMC storage and Maskrom DIP switch.
