The ASUS IoT Tinker Board 2/2S is a powerful single board computer with Rockchip RK3399 hexa-core SoC (A72+A53), up to 4 GB LPDDR4, HDMI 4K, MIPI DSI/CSI and Wi-Fi 5 / BT 5.0. The 2S variant adds 16 GB eMMC onboard storage for embedded applications.
The ASUS IoT Tinker Board 2/2S is based on the Rockchip RK3399 hexa-core SoC with two ARM Cortex-A72 (2.0 GHz) and four ARM Cortex-A53 (1.5 GHz) cores as well as an ARM Mali-T860 MP4 GPU at 800 MHz. It offers 2 or 4 GB dual-channel LPDDR4 memory; the Tinker Board 2S variant adds 16 GB eMMC storage.
Display output is provided via HDMI (up to 4096 × 2160 @ 60 Hz), USB-C with DisplayPort 1.2 and MIPI DSI (4-lane, 6 Gbps, 22-pin). Multi-display operation is possible: HDMI+USB-C, HDMI+MIPI DSI or USB-C+MIPI DSI. Camera input is supported via a MIPI CSI-2 connector (2-lane, 15-pin).
Three USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C OTG port, Gigabit LAN (Realtek RTL8211E/F) as well as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0 (Realtek RTL8822CE, M.2 E-Key) offer comprehensive connectivity. The 40-pin GPIO header (Raspberry Pi compatible) with up to 28 GPIO, SPI, I²C, UART, PWM, PCM/I²S and S/PDIF enables flexible hardware integration.
The Tinker Board 2/2S supports OmniEdge middleware for IoT frameworks, watchdog timer, GPIO API and LTE keep-alive. It is powered with 12–19 V DC, supports Linux Debian 10 and Android (AOSP) 11 and measures a compact 85 × 56 mm.
