Description

The RUC-1000D is a half-height, rugged fanless edge computer in half-rack format with Intel Core Ultra 200S Series (W880 chipset), up to 6x 2.5″ SSD (RAID 0/1/5/10) and an operating temperature of -25 to 70 °C.

The ASUS IoT RUC-1000D is a compact half-rack rugged edge computer based on the Intel Core Ultra 200S Series CPU (W880 chipset). The half-rack format (220 × 260 × 85 mm) allows space-saving rack mounting and can optionally be expanded with an SSD expansion chassis to up to 6x 2.5″ SSDs with RAID 0/1/5/10.

With an operating temperature range of -25 to 70 °C (35 W CPU) and the rugged fanless design (MIL-STD-810H), the RUC-1000D is suitable for demanding industrial, transport and outdoor applications. 1x 10 GbE (AQC113) + 2x 2.5 GbE provide high-speed network connectivity.

8x USB 3.2 Gen2 + 2x USB 2.0, 2x RS-232/422/485 + 4x RS-232, 1x CAN Bus 2.0B (optional), 8-bit isolated DIO. DDR5 ECC/non-ECC up to 64 GB.

The wide DC input range of 8 to 48 V with ignition control and dTPM v2.0 make the RUC-1000D ideally suited to vehicle, railway and mobile edge computing deployments.
