The ASUS IoT R1606I-IM-B is a compact industrial Mini-ITX motherboard in 170×170 mm format with a soldered AMD Ryzen Embedded R1606G APU. This BGA integration guarantees maximum vibration and shock resistance for mobile and vehicle applications as well as harsh industrial environments.

Two SO-DIMM slots accommodate up to 32 GB of DDR4-2400 ECC memory. Dual display via 2× DP 1.4 and LVDS (optional eDP). One PCIe 3.0 x8 (x4) slot and one M.2 connector offer expansion options despite the compact design.

Two Gigabit LAN ports (Realtek RTL8111H) and six serial ports (2× RS232/422/485 rear, 4× RS232 internal) enable broad industrial connectivity. One SATA port and one CFast connector offer flexible storage options. The 12–24 V DC input makes the board suitable for direct battery operation.

Operating temperature range 0–60 °C, CE and FCC (CLASS B) certified.
