The ASUS IoT IMX8P-IM-A is an energy-efficient Pico-ITX single board computer with NXP i.MX 8M ARM Cortex-A53 processor, 4 GB LPDDR4 memory and 32 GB eMMC storage. It offers dual LAN, HDMI 2.0 and an extended temperature range of -20 to 60 °C for industrial applications.
The ASUS IoT IMX8P-IM-A is based on the NXP i.MX 8M processor with four ARM Cortex-A53 cores at up to 1.3 GHz and is specifically designed for low-power edge computing applications. With 4 GB LPDDR4 onboard memory and 32 GB eMMC, it offers sufficient resources for demanding embedded applications.
The board features two Gigabit LAN ports (Realtek RTL8211 and Intel I210-AT), an HDMI 2.0 output with up to 3840 × 2160 @ 60 Hz and a MIPI DSI connector. Three USB 3.2 Gen1 ports (two Type-A, one Type-C OTG) complete the connectivity. An M.2 2230 E-Key slot enables the integration of Wi-Fi/Bluetooth modules.
For industrial flexibility, a 40-pin GPIO header (Raspberry Pi compatible) with UART, I²C, SPI, PWM and PCM/I²S is available. Two MIPI CSI camera connectors (4-lane each) and optional TPM 2.0 via Nuvoton NCPT 750 simplify integration into image processing and security applications.
The IMX8P-IM-A is powered with 12–24 V DC and supports Linux Yocto. The operating temperature range of -20 to 60 °C and the CE and FCC certifications make it a reliable platform for industrial IoT solutions.
