The ASUS IoT PE1000S is an ultra-compact, fanless industrial edge computer for DIN-rail mounting with Intel® Atom® x6000 Series or Celeron® J6412 processor, DDR4 up to 32 GB and up to 4× 2.5 GbE ports.
With MIL-STD-810H vibration and shock resistance and an operating temperature range of −25 °C to 70 °C, the PE1000S is ideally suited to harsh industrial environments.
Processor & platform: The PE1000S is available with three CPU options: Intel® Atom® x6425E (12 W, 4 cores, 2.0–3.0 GHz), Intel® Atom® x6413E (9 W, 4 cores, 1.5–3.0 GHz) or Intel® Celeron® J6412 (10 W, 4 cores, 2.0–2.6 GHz). The integrated graphics supports 1× HDMI 1.4b (4096×2160/30 Hz) and 1× DP 1.2a (4096×2160/60 Hz).
Memory & storage: One SO-DIMM slot supports DDR4 up to 3200 MHz with a maximum of 32 GB. For storage, one M.2 M-Key 2280 slot (PCIe ×2/SATA) and an optional 2.5″ SATA bay (not compatible with PoE SKU) are available. One M.2 B-Key 3042/3052 slot (USB 3.2 Gen1/USB 2.0) with Nano-SIM slot enables 4G/LTE connectivity.
I/O & connectivity: The device offers 2× 2.5 GbE RJ45 (Intel® i226-IT) and optionally 2× additional 2.5 GbE ports with PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at). USB: 2× USB 3.2 Gen2 (10 Gb/s), 2× USB 3.2 Gen1 (5 Gb/s), 2× USB 2.0. Serial interfaces: 1× RS-232/422/485 (COM1), 3× 3-wire RS-232 or 1× RS-422/485 (COM2–4), optionally 2× RS-232 or 1× 8-bit GPIO. M.2 E-Key 2230 (PCIe/USB 2.0) for WLAN/BT. Power input: 9–36 V DC via 3-pin terminal block.
